The Most Reverend Donald W. Wuerl, S.T.D., Archbishop of Washington  PCR member Laura Ryan and her brother, PCR board President Robert Ryan
On November 30th The Most Reverend Donald W. Wuerl, S.T.D., Archbishop of Washington, presented Our Lady of Mercy Parish in Potomac, Maryland, with a 2008 Legacy Award, in recognition of the service given by the parish to persons with disabilities, in particular its role in establishing PCR in 1994 and its continuing support. Our Lady of Mercy Parish Pastor Rev. Msgr. William English accepted the award from Archbishop Wuerl at the annual Partnership Mass with Persons with Disabilities. Msgr. English serves on the PCR board of directors. PCR member Laura Ryan and her brother, PCR board President Robert Ryan, presented Archbishop Wuerl with a certificate naming the Archbishop as an Honorary Life Member of PCR, in recognition of his leadership promoting the interests of persons with disabilities in the Archdiocese of Washington.
