PCR Policy Information
Deciding What to Sign Up For
In order to facilitate participant enjoyment, safety, and personal growth, we provide information on staffing ratios, skills required, and interests essential for most of our programs. Contact us for more information. If considering a program for the first time, you are strongly encouraged to make arrangements to visit a program one time before registering.
PCR reserves the right to determine any individual's program participation.
Pick-up and Drop-off Policy
Please accompany your member into the program site and make sure there is staff on site. At the end of program please come into the program site to accompany your member from the program.
PCR Program Cancellation Policy
If a session is cancelled due to inclement weather or instructor/therapist illness, it is considered an "act of nature” and there will be no fee refunds.
PCR Late Pick-up Policy
A late fee of $10.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes or part thereof that a member is picked up after the stated end time. For example: if a member is picked up 25 minutes after the stated end time then the charge would be $20.00. If you have a question about start and end times, please speak to the PCR staff on site, or call the PCR office.
This policy applies to all members, regardless of their mode of transportation to and from PCR programs. Members making use of Metro Access should schedule their pick-up time 15 minutes before the stated end of programs, as Metro Access has a policy of a 15 minute window on either side of the pick-up time.
At the time of a late pick-up, PCR staff will inform the member and the family member/caregiver of the assessed fee. Drivers picking up multiple members are responsible for ALL fees for each member. Questions and concerns regarding this policy in general or a specific incident should be directed to the PCR office, not the staff on site.
All late fee payments must be mailed to the PCR office . Late fees must be paid within a week of the infraction for the PCR member(s) to continue their participation in PCR programs. Payments should be made by check payable to PCR, Inc.
Consistent lateness will affect a member’s ability to preregister for PCR programs, and his/her ranking on PCR program waiting lists.
PCR “Prorating Fees” Policy
There is no prorating of fees for sessions you select to miss or miss due to occasional illness. In the event of prolonged absences, PCR will consider prorating on a case by case basis.
PCR Inclement Weather Policy
If Montgomery County Public Schools are closed for the day or evening there will be no PCR programs that evening. If it is a weekend program about which you need to inquire, please call the office 301-365-0561. We will make every effort to post notice on this site.

PCR provides supervision, according to the level appropriate to each program, ONLY during the stated program times. We cannot be responsible for members' arrival and departure. Please be prompt to arrive and leave.
