Part-Time Employment Opportunities
PCR is committed to providing high-quality, person-centered programs for our members. All PCR staff are expected to implement this commitment in their work with PCR through their interactions with our members. Staff are expected to act in a respectful manner that recognizes the dignity of each individual.
Potomac Community Resources, Inc. (PCR) employs dedicated individuals to work as part time direct care staff at PCR programs. PCR direct care staff help facilitate recreational, social, and therapeutic group activities under the direction of a professional instructor, work directly with PCR members to help support their participation in activities, and supervise volunteers at programs. Part time employment opportunities include weekday evenings, weekends, and limited daytime hours. PCR prefers applicants that have an educational background related to the population or related experience; however this is not required of all applicants. Applicants must be reliable, mature, willing to take trainings, and able to interact with individuals of all ability levels with respect and dignity.
How to Apply for Part-Time Employment With Potomac Community Resources, Inc.
Applicants must review the PCR website to familiarize themselves with the organization. Interested individuals can send a resume and cover letter to Seth Duncan, Program Director, at seth@pcr-inc.org. Cover letters should not be more than one page, and must explain specifically your interest in working with PCR.
