Employment at PCR

PCR is committed to providing high-quality, person-centered programs for our members. All PCR staff are expected to implement this commitment in their work with PCR through their interactions with our members. Staff are expected to act in a respectful manner that recognizes the dignity of each individual.

Potomac Community Resources, Inc. (PCR) employs dedicated individuals to work as part time direct care staff at PCR programs. PCR direct care staff help facilitate recreational, social, and therapeutic group activities under the direction of a professional instructor, work directly with PCR members to help support their participation in activities, and supervise volunteers at programs.

Part time employment opportunities include weekday evenings, weekends, and limited daytime hours. PCR prefers applicants that have an educational background related to the population or related experience; however this is not required of all applicants.
Applicants must be reliable, mature, willing to take trainings, and pass a criminal background check and be able to interact with individuals of all ability levels with respect and dignity.
