The Montgomery County Transition Work Group is a coalition of government agencies, service providers, nonprofit organizations and individuals serving young adults with developmental disabilities and autism. Transition to Independent Living Collaborative
The Transition to Independent Living Collaborative is a small group of volunteers that encourages information-sharing and mutual support to help parents of adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) transition their adult children out of the family home to independent living, with supports.
The Collaborative is associated with MCTransitions, an online support group of parents, families, and support providers for I/DD adults in Montgomery County, MD.
